HiConnect SOM
The production module at the center of the board. Manufacturers embed it in a DAC or amplifier. It runs Embedded Linux, handles streaming protocols, and sends lossless audio to an external DAC over I2S.
EV Board
The green carrier that hosts the SOM for bring-up. Use it to prove network audio, sound quality, and interfaces before you layout a custom product board.
HiConnect SOM
Major streaming protocols in one compact module. Lossless I2S output to an external DAC lets manufacturers keep their analog design.

Why HiConnect
The phone does not compress and send the audio. The SOM receives and decodes the stream on the network.
Files from a NAS or PC travel over the home network as they are. FLAC, WAV, and DSD stay lossless, and it works on LAN/Wi-Fi without internet.
Spotify, Tidal, and Qobuz streams go straight to the SOM, not through the phone. High-resolution audio without draining the handset battery.
Lossless ALAC from iPhone or Mac over Wi-Fi, up to 24-bit/192kHz, with multi-room sync.
